DISTRICT STUDENTS WINS 2010 JOHN BRIGHT MEMORIAL AWARD
Grade 12 students Taylor Riar of Strathcona and Megan Ure of Ross Sheppard are the recipients of the 2010 John Bright Memorial Award. Runners up for the awards were Grace Grundy from Harry Ainlay and Tanya Pacholok from M.E. LaZerte. The awards are presented annually to a male and female high school student who demonstrates superior achievement in athletics, academics and involvement in the life of the school. Taylor and Megan each received a $1,500 scholarship and the runners-up received $750.
