Good Things Are Happening
CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF READ IN WEEK AT EDMONTON PUBLIC SCHOOLS!

Edmonton Public Schools is proud to be a part of the 20^th annual READ IN Week taking place October 5^th to 9^th. This year's theme, Books are windows on the world was inspired by the idea that books have the ability to open the past, present and future or wherever your passion takes you.

District schools have invited many special guests to visit classrooms and share their love of reading throughout the week. The following guests will be reading on Tuesday, October 6:

• Minister of Education Dave Hancock will read from 2:30 - 3:25 p.m. at Prince Charles School (12325 - 127 Street) celebrating the school's $29,000 grant from the Indigo Love of Reading Foundation.
• Alberta Prime Time Host Jennifer Martin will read at 9 a.m. at Evansdale School (9303 - 150 Avenue).
• Marie Stelmach will read at 12:30 p.m. at Evansdale School (9303 - 150 Avenue).
• CNIB Volunteer Coordinator Marie Gauthier will read from 9 - 9:30 a.m. at Queen Alexandra School (7730 - 106 Street).
