Good Things Are Happening
PREMIER STELMACH TO ATTEND DELWOOD SCHOOL'S UKRAINIAN EASTER CELEBRATIONS
On Wednesday, April 30, at 9:30 a.m. students in the Ukrainian International Bilingual program at Delwood School will celebrate Ukrainian Easter at Delwood Community Hall (located at 7315 Delwood Road). The students will be joined by Premier Ed Stelmach, who will speak to students about the importance of second language education. As part of the celebrations, students will perform a concert for their families and invited guests.
Students, teachers and parent volunteers have been busy preparing traditional Ukrainian food such as paska (Ukrainian Easter bread), and pysanky (Ukrainian Easter eggs).
Please note the Premier will be in attendance from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. He will speak at 10 a.m.
