WESTMINSTER SCHOOL RECEIVES CIBC RUN FOR THE CURE SCHOOL TEAM AWARD 2007

Westminster School received the CIBC Run for the Cure School Team Award 2007 for raising approximately $24,000 for the cause. This year, 185 students, staff and parents made up the school's team. The school has participated in the event for the past six years and has raised a total of $90,000. For the past four years, the school has received second place honours for their fundraising.

On Wednesday, October 10 at 2:30 p.m. Westminster School will hold its Think Pink Assembly. During the assembly, the school will receive a plaque from CIBC representatives and Principal Darren Fox will have his head shaved by the student who raised the most money.

The school chose to support the CIBC Run for the Cure in honour of students and staff who have been affected by breast cancer.
