Observing Remembrance Day
Many of Edmonton Public Schools' will be observing Remembrance today with activities and ceremonies. On November 11, Board Chair Bev Esslinger and a Grade 6 student, will be attending the ceremony at the Butterdome and will lay wreath on behalf of the Board of Trustees.
Queen Elizabeth School's Remembrance Day ceremony commences at 10:30 a.m. this morning. During their ceremony, the school, along with Northmount and Rosslyn schools will be video-conferencing with troops in Afghanistan. Queen Elizabeth is located at 9425 - 132 Avenue.
