Edmonton Public Schools holds organizational board meeting
The Edmonton Public Schools Board of Trustees held its annual organizational meeting this evening to determine trustee roles and responsibilities. The important role of public school board trustees as advocates for children and for public education is reflected in the committees and assignments. The following positions are effective immediately for the 2006-2007 school year:
Board Chair - Bev Esslinger
Board Vice Chair - George Nicholson
Conference Committee Chair - Ken Gibson
