| What: | Westglen School Celebrates Earth Day in a Musical WayIn addition to participating in Edmonton Public Schools' Light's Out Challenge, Westglen School students will be celebrating Earth Day with a musical performance using instruments made with recyclable materials. The students will be joined by musician Tippy Agogo, the school's Artist in Residence, who is known for making music on reclaimed tin cans, broken guitars, and racks full of technological gadgetry. The following week, the entire school community will continue their green momentum by taking part in the City of Edmonton's School Yard Clean Up. |
