What:

30 Hour Famine at J. Percy Page

The students at J. Percy Page are pulling together this weekend to raise money for World Vision. This is the first time the school has participated in this event, and so far they have raised close to $7,000!

The students are participating in a 30 Hour Famine (no food, but clear liquids are encouraged) to experience a small part of the life many people live in different corners of the world. The money raised is being donated towards clean and safe drinking water in third world countries.

In addition, the students are running a car wash on Saturday, April 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the school. All proceeds from the car wash will be donated to World Vision.
