March for Understanding at Rosslyn School

Rosslyn School and the Centre for Race and Culture are hosting an event to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination on March 21.

The event, funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada, will feature a keynote address by children's author Marty Chan, Chinese ethnic dancing by the Rosslyn School Mandarin Program students, drumming by student members of the Creating Hope Society and a drama skit by the Rosslyn Leadership class.

March 21 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination as declared by UNESCO in 1966, following the Sharpeville shootings in South Africa in 1960. For more information visit: http://www.cfrac.com/
