What: Riverbend School Benefit Concert Supporting Bissell Centre
Every year, the leadership students at Riverbend School try to give back to the community by supporting a charity. This year, the students are supporting the Bissell Centre with a concert and silent auction. This student-driven initiative was planned and co-ordinated by students in the Grade 9 Leadership class. Entertainment includes performances from Juno nominated Maren Ord, alternative rock band Colour in Conflict, The Next Star finalist Madi Amyotte and Cheremshyna Dance Ensemble. All proceeds from the event will go to the Centre to help them pay for their programs.
