Good Things Are Happening

What: S.N.A.P. MATH FAIR AT TALMUD TORAH SCHOOL
The S.N.A.P. Math Fair (Student-centered, Non-competitive, All-inclusive, Problem-based) is a friendly student-run event that includes all grade levels. The games and puzzles will challenge students' logical reasoning skills and force them to 'think outside the box.' This reinforces the new provincial math curriculum by encouraging students to explain their thought processes.

When: Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday, June 2, from 9:15 - 10:45 a.m.

Who: Attending the fair will be the entire school community and neighbouring Catholic school, Our Lady of the Prairies.

Where: Talmud Torah School, 6320 - 172 Street

Why: The goal is for students to become motivated to challenge themselves and persevere through more difficult and complex math problems.
