Good Things Are Happening

What: 7th ANNUAL SCHOOL BUS DRIVER APPRECIATION DAY
Each day, over 25,000 public school students are transported to and from school by yellow buses. In recognition of the safe and caring work exhibited by bus drivers, Edmonton Public Schools is proud to participate in the 7th Annual School Bus Driver Appreciation Day.

To acknowledge this day, many schools have planned individual "thank you" celebrations for their school bus drivers. In addition, an appreciation coffee party is being held for all school bus drivers.

 
When: Tuesday, May 18
8 - 9 a.m. School buses drop off students at schools
8:30 - 10:30 a.m. Appreciation Day Coffee Party @ the Expo Centre

Bus Driver Appreciation Day is hosted by Edmonton Public Schools, Edmonton Catholic Schools and Conseil scolaire Centre-Nord.

 
Where: Expo Centre, Northlands Park, 7515-118 Avenue
 
Why: Bus Driver Appreciation Day is a way to thank all school bus drivers for the challenging work they do each day getting our students to school safely, on time and ready to learn.
