Good Things Are Happening
READY, SET, CLAY!

The Grade 6 students at Crestwood School (9735 - 144 Street) will be participating in a full day claymation workshop with Director's Cut on Wednesday, September 30. This event marks the launch of Director's Cut workshops in an Edmonton Public Schools' classroom.

In this unique workshop, clay is the main ingredient for fun and learning. In the morning, the students will construct their own clay figures/characters and backdrop scenes and then bring things to life using stop motion technology. In the afternoon, sound effects, voiceovers, special effects, transitions and titles will be added to make their film a shoe in for an Academy Award.

Principal Sue McKenzie-Robblee adds, "It's a wonderful way and opportunity to engage and motivate students through an experience that brings the curriculum alive. It is a skill that they can build on for years while creating magic!"

Please join the students as they use their imagination to produce the next big blockbuster!
