Good Things Are Happening
RITES OF PASSAGE OPEN HOUSE
Please join us on Friday, September 25 from 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. for the Rites of Passage Open House at Prince Rupert School (11515 - 113 Avenue).
Rites of Passage is a full-time alternative junior high program for Aboriginal youth between the ages of 12 - 15 years. In operation since 1996, the initiative is a partnership between the Bent Arrow Traditional Healing Society and Edmonton Public Schools. It is designed to foster educational success through academics, cultural awareness, and life management skills.
The Open House will give visitors a chance to meet the students and educators, tour the school and have lunch.
