RAISING A DIGITAL CHILD - A PARENT'S GUIDE TO NAVIGATING THE INTERNET

Principals and school staff are asked to help promote this information-packed session for parents, which takes place on Saturday, March 21 at the Stanley A. Milner Library. Steve Dotto, Canada's own high tech guru, will explain the new rules and responsibilities resulting from the high tech revolution.

Dotto is the host and executive producer of Dotto Tech, which is seen across the country. His humorous and insightful presentation will encourage parents to put technology in its proper place - firmly in the hands of users. Breakout sessions will delve into Web 2.0, Internet safety and authenticating online information.

This is a free session for parents, offered by the District's Parents as Partners program. More information and an online registration form are available on the Partners in Education website.
