Good Things Are Happening
STUDENTS PRESENT QUILT TO THE STOLLERY CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FOUNDATION

On Friday, November 28, at 10:30 a.m., Grade 2 students from Madame Haddad's French Immersion Class, will present two quilts to a representative from the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. The quilt project was initiated last year by Mrs. Gandall, a parent, as part of a citizenship project.

The quilts feature an animal theme to coincide with the Grade 2 Science curriculum. Each student chose a photo of an animal and increased the photo's size to fit the quilt square. Mrs. Gandall traced the animals onto fabric and each student chose the animal they wanted to colour.

The quilts will be auctioned off by the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation in December as part of their annual Snowflake Gala.
