POLICE CONSTABLE DONATES MONEY TO BRAEMAR SCHOOL

On Tuesday, November 25, at 10 a.m., Constable Maria Munson, with the Edmonton Police Service's Southeast Division, will present Braemar School with $2,500 from the Edmonton Police Foundation for the school's breakfast program. In addition, the Southeast Division has also donated $500.00 in food vouchers through its Community Initiatives Fund.

Munson is a beat officer who volunteers at the school in her time off. In addition to raising money for the breakfast program, Constable Munson also arranged for MAC Cosmetics to donate make-up sessions for students graduating last year.

Braemar School supports pregnant and parenting young women. The breakfast program is offered free of charge and provides nutritious meals for the students and their children. The school currently has 139 students attending classes on campus as well as 48 infants and 18 toddlers in the Terra on-site daycare program.
