Good Things Are Happening
BUILDING RESILIENT KIDS AT HOME AND IN SCHOOL

On Monday, November 24, over 400 teachers and 200 parents will participate in separate sessions lead by Gordon Neufeld, a Vancouver-based clinical psychologist. Dr. Neufeld has created a model of development that is highly effective for both parents and educators. He is an authority on child development and is best known for his breakthrough insights on attachment and aggression.

Dr. Neufeld will work with teachers and school administrators on how to reach and teach the marginalized student and facilitate resiliency. He will also provide them with practical strategies for improving student achievement and behaviour.

Later that evening, Dr. Neufeld will speak to parents about the pivotal role the parent-child relationship has in student learning, as well as how that relationship can make parenting easier and more effective.
