LYNNWOOD SCHOOL STUDENTS SCORE ON NATIONAL MATH TESTS

Lynnwood School has been recognized as the Fibonacci Provincial School Champion and the Pythagoras Provincial School Champion for 2008 thanks to the outstanding efforts of 19 students in Grades 5 and 6.

The school placed 10th out of 698 schools in the Fibonacci contest and 30th out of 973 schools in the Pythagoras contest. Both contests recognized the school's top scorers. Nathan Jen, a Grade 5 student, received the Great Fibonaccian medal for placing 15th out of 14,208 students from across the country. Kevin Wang was awarded a Great Pythagorean medal for placing 23rd out of 20,154 students from across the country.
