Good Things Are Happening
OLD SCONA STUDENT AWARDED A TOP 20 UNDER 20 AWARD FROM YOUTH IN MOTION
Sundeep Randhawa, a Grade 12 student at Old Scona School, received a Top 20 Under 20 award from Youth in Motion. As part of the award he receives a $2,000 bursary and will attend a week-long conference in Toronto. In addition, Randhawa will be paired with an Order of Canada recipient who will act as his mentor for the coming year. At the age of 14, Randhawa established Dream for Darfur to raise public awareness about the atrocities occurring in Darfur and to bring aid to the country through fundraising and supplying food.
