Good Things Are Happening
FRASER SCHOOL STUDENTS TO BE HONOURED AT ALBERTA LEGISLATURE
On Wednesday, June 4 at 1:30 p.m. students from Fraser School will be recognized in the Alberta Legislature by Peter Sandhu, MLA for Edmonton Manning. Sandhu read about the school's fundraising efforts and invited students who participated in the school's head shaving event to be acknowledged by the members in session.
Students at Fraser raised $11,381.61 for Kids with Cancer through a variety of fundraising events including candy grams, movie/popcorn day, coin toss, bake sales and the head shave. The student council chose the charity in support of a student who has recovered from cancer.
