Good Things Are Happening
TURKEY BREAKFAST AT PARKDALE SCHOOL
On Thursday, December 13 at 9 a.m., students at Parkdale School will be treated to a hot turkey breakfast donated by Tom Goodchild's Sawmill Restaurant. The turkey breakfast is an annual event and served as part of the school's daily snack program. Breakfast is served to all 206 students by community members.
For the past seven years, Goodchild has donated food to Parkdale School's daily snack program. Each week, the school receives a shipment that varies from fruits and vegetables to cheese and crackers. The daily snack program provides students with a healthy and nutritious start to their day.
