QUEEN ELIZABETH SCHOOL RECEIVES DONATION FROM CHINESE EMBASSY

On Friday, December 7 at 9 a.m., Xiangqing Lo, Consul in Culture, from the Chinese Embassy in Calgary, will present one class set of textbooks to the staff and students at Queen Elizabeth School. The donation will help build the resources for the school's recently revived Mandarin language program, which currently serves 24 students from Grades 10 to 12. The program is expected to grow to 50 students next year. Dr. Xinxin Fang, China's Special Advisor to Alberta Education will also be in attendance.
